What MikeySS is

MikeySS is a scanner that a player runs on their own Windows PC, and a console where the staff who asked for the scan read the result. It is made for staff of Minecraft Java servers who screenshare players.

Using it fairly

• Only give a PIN to a player you are checking for your own server, and only scan people who agreed to it. The scanner asks them, and you must not pressure anyone into running it on a PC that is not theirs.
• Do not use a scan to collect information about someone for any purpose other than deciding whether they cheated on your server.
• Do not share a player's report outside your staff team.
• Do not try to break, overload or reverse the service, upload fake reports, or use someone else's account.
• You are responsible for what the people you invite to your team do.

What a result means

A scan is a snapshot of one PC at one moment. It can miss a cheat it does not know about, and it can flag something harmless. A verdict is not proof that a player cheated, and a clean result is not proof that they did not.

Your staff make the ban decision. MikeySS does not ban anyone and is not responsible for a decision a server makes from a scan.

Plans and licence keys

• The free plan can be used without paying. Its limits are listed on the pricing section of the front page.
• A paid plan is activated with a licence key that you redeem in the console. A key works once, for one team.
• A plan runs for the time written on the key. When it ends, the team goes back to the free plan and keeps its data.
• Limits and prices can change. A plan you already activated keeps its limits until it ends.

Suspension

We can suspend an account or a team that breaks these rules, abuses the service or uses a stolen or refunded key. A suspended team cannot create PINs or receive scans.

No warranty

The service is provided as it is. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we do not promise it will always be available, that it will catch every cheat, or that every finding is correct.
